Happening Publications is a unique publisher whose primary mission for 20 years has been helping young writers to publish.

Generally, we welcome original submissions from writers 21 years of age and younger. For particular guidelines, read the information for authors specific to the publication you are targeting.

Underground University is a warehouse of miscellaneous information and suggested sources for the interest and edification of young writers.

In addition to publications that are supported by the literary contributions of young writers, additional opportunities include participation in the publishing process by volunteer service on our review panels and editorial boards.

We have a special call for writers who wish to review and other to contribute periodic columns or feature articles of interest to peers.

Our experience in publishing enables us to offer objective advice to young writers who may find the answer to a particular question elusive.

Our publications and website are a meeting place for readers and writers. A critical component of our mission to find readers for young writers is to publicize and review their work at every opportunity. Our pages are open as well to spread the word regarding worthy efforts and unique projects by young artists in media and genres beyond writing.
